Job/Person Summary

‘Be proud, be courageous!’ is our school motto, and this is exactly what we are looking for!

Long Wittenham Primary School is steeped in history and burgeoning with the potential to grow from consistently good, to outstanding. We are an extremely forward-thinking school which is committed to striving for excellence in all that we do. Watch out though…once you learn the Long Wittenham way, you won’t want to go elsewhere!

We are looking for a diligent, highly motivated, committed and inspiring EYFS Class Teacher who can work as part of an excellent team to deliver the highest quality lessons which are fun and insightful. You will be a creative and reflective practitioner, with a great sense of humour, who strives to do their very best for each and every child in your class, and our school as a whole. You will be able to meet all deadlines and contribute to our whole school ethos. We would also like someone willing to take on the leadership of a subject with a view to turning it on its head and improving its delivery and resourcing in a highly creative way.

So…if you have the positivity, passion and belief in your profession, if you are that forward-thinker who has the ability to motivate, engage, inspire and enthuse our children, who remains calm under pressure and never loses their sense of humour, then this is the job for you! You will not meet more supportive and friendly staff, parents and governors who constantly demonstrate such generosity of spirit.

Are you proud and courageous? Do you want to become part of our amazing team of professionals? Then get in touch and arrange a tour!

Visits to our school are very much welcome (applicants who have not visited our school will not be considered). Please contact Nicky Folkman at office.3233.long-wittenham.oxon.sch.uk to make an appointment.

Oxfordshire Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. The School is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from a range of backgrounds to represent diversity in the workplace.
