LONG WITTENHAM SCHOOL PARENTS ASSOCIATION NEWSLETTER
Raising funds to enhance our children’s education

Long Wittenham Parent Association

The Long Wittenham School Parent Association has been running for many years. It is a body made up of both parents and teachers alike. Our goal is to raise funds to enhance our children’s education (which you will notice we use as our strap line) and in doing so we organise social events for both children and parents to enjoy. The PA meet on a regular basis (approximately every 6 weeks) to discuss and organise ways in which we can raise much needed funds and provide assistance to the school to enable our children to benefit from the funds raised. The PA is currently made up of:

Chairperson: Michelle Van Roon

Treasurer: Kirsty King

Secretary: Sarah Jackson

There are further committee members including Head Teacher Alison Bellingham.

We are always looking for additional members to help bring new ideas and assist in the organising and running of events. We are a friendly bunch and would welcome any new members to the PA. You don’t have to be able to attend every meeting, we realise that we are all busy so are just appreciative of any time, energy and ideas you can bring to the meetings and the annual fundraising events. Please speak to any of the above if you are interested in joining the PA.
